The FR 541 Disc 29" Rim by DT Swiss - For custom freeride wheels

Use the FR 541 rim from DT Swiss to build the 29" downhill wheel of your choice. The weight-optimised rim for disc brakes impresses with particularly high impact resistance. The forged aluminium is particularly robust, which is why the rim holes do not require eyelets. This also contributes to weight savings. The shape of the rims with hooks for wired and folding tyres has been designed in such a way that the risk punctures in the inner tube is enormously reduced. If you want, you can also just ride tubeless. With a 30 mm jaw width, you can fit really wide tyres. So you don't need to shy away from extreme trails.

Although we designed the R2 VEGA MTB sneakers as racing sneakers, they were not created just for wild starts on the cross country battlefield. The result is a shoe that has the stiffness for powerful pedaling, but at the same time provides as much comfort as you need for a normal ride in the countryside. The sole itself deserves some attention - it consists of nylon fibers in combination with rubber segments for excellent traction. The grooves between the rubber parts of the sole allow for self-cleaning, and you can also use the prepared holes in the tip of the sole to mount two spikes for breaking through difficult terrain even after dismounting from the bike. And said convenience? The easy-to-maintain surface with perforations ensures an ideal climate in the sneaker, which can be tightened to the foot in detail thanks to the innovative DIAL clamping system.

All CeramicSpeed Bearings are hand-built in Denmark. Super smooth CeramicSpeed grade 3 Silicon Nitride balls are matched (within microns) with hardened steel raceways that feature an ultra-smooth polished groove.

The balls are held in place by a reinforced polyamide cage. Every bearing is optimised with a low viscosity CeramicSpeed “Blue Grease” to minimise fiction and increase bearing life. During the building process, we check each bearing four times by hand to ensure that all parts are matched perfectly. CeramicSpeed Balls are 400% smoother, 128% harder and 58% lighter than standard steel bearings normally used in the bicycle industry. When comparing the CeramicSpeed Balls with other ceramic balls in the industry, you will find that the CeramicSpeed Balls are 15% harder, take 99% higher loads and are 100% smoother.
