After the mountain bike flagship XTR has already set benchmarks and Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M6100 now rounds off Shimano's 12-speed lineup. It is complemented by the components of the M5100 and M4100 series which will equip 11- and 10-speed drivetrains at the same high level.
Regarding the price, the current Shimano Deore groups are positioned in the entry-level range, but are not prepared to compromise in terms of performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that the high end groups XTR, XT and SLX have to offer in terms of technology, innovation, performance and range of functions, you will find in the Deore components, too.
Shimano Deore RD-M6100-SGS Shadow RD+ rear derailleur
The Shimano Deore RD-M6100-SGS rear derailleur guarantees fast and precise shifting operations over a wide gear range. The Top Normal rear derailleur for the Deore 1x12-speed drivetrain is designed to work perfectly with the large 10-51 teeth Shimano CS-M6100 cassette and features the Shadow RD+ technology known from Deore XT and SLX which reduces noise level and increases chain stability.
Shadow RD+
Quiet drivetrain, less distraction. The Shadow RD+ system is lighter and more efficient than roller type chain devices. A rear derailleur stabilizer reduces chain slap and is a simple solution to prevent chain drop as well.

General informations: Resin brake pads are quieter than metal pads, but offer slightly lower performance and have higher wear. Metal pads have a longer service life than pads made of synthetic resin, are more fade-resistant and offer consistent deceleration in dry and wet conditions. Metal brake pads may generate noise during braking.
