The Magura MT7 Pro HC Carbotecture disc brake with four pistons delivers high braking power, a clearly defined pressure point and sensitive control. making it the first choice for anyone who wants to hit the gas when riding enduro or downhill. With an ergonomic HC brake lever, which lets you to adjust the grip width without tools, you can adjust your brake force with one finger even on demanding terrain. The use of Carbotecture SL® makes the brake lever both robust and light. The one-piece 4-piston brake calliper made of forged aluminium is particularly rigid and delivers powerful braking power.

Technology:

Carbotecture SL®:
Material developed by Magura consisting of a high proportion of carbon fibres embedded in a thermoplastic matrix. More powerful, more tensile, more flexible and more break-resistant than conventional, fibre-reinforced plastics or laminated carbon fibre mats. Ideally suited for manufacturing using the Carboflow® process. An artificial word composed of carbon and architecture.

Carboflow®:
A process developed by Magura that allows carbon fibres to be optimally aligned with the direction of force. Produces homogeneous, calculable surfaces. Significant weight savings are possible as oversizing is not necessary. There are hardly any limits to the design.

HCT (Hard Core Tech):
Under the HCT program, which at Magura stands for Hard Core Tech and has its origin in Magura Powersport, Magura combines all developments and special detail improvements that are developed for racing or the highest demands. The HC brake lever for MT disc brakes was developed especially to optimise the ergonomic performance. The ergonomics of the shorter HC aluminium lever allows full braking power - safely with one finger. Danny MacAskill's feedback and experience also went into the design and ergonomics.
