SILCA ENDURANCE CHIP

EnduranceChip. EnduranceChip is a semi-synthetic wax blend boasting some of the longest molecular chain lengths possible in a wax for ultimate durability. Adding EnduranceChip to SecretBlend can permanent increase the distance between re-waxing by as much as 2.5X (up to 750km) while still being as fast as the top wet lubricants and significantly faster than any dry lubricant.
One of the secrets behind Secret Chain Blend is that it's a mix of 4 unique types of wax and not just Paraffin like most other hot wax products. This blend of waxes along with our proprietary WS2 has kept the Secret Chain Blend on top of the ZeroFrictionCycling charts for the last 3 years with many competitors reformulating to get close, but none of them able to beat it.
The 4 wax mix has allowed SILCA to blend what we felt was the best overall mix of high performance, dirt resistance, and application longevity, but over the years as we've worked with professional gravel athletes, WorldTour teams, Olympic medalists and more, the request has come up over and over again to custom formulate waxes for specific events or situations. Rather than make an endless number of custom blends, early in 2024 we started shipping two different wax additive kits to our athletes and teams for testing new formulations based on their events and experiences.
The challenge in formulating waxes is that the fastest, most exotic waxes, tend not to last as long per application, while the most durable, longest lasting waxes tend not to be as fast. Rather than blending new and custom formulations for each event, we gave the power to formulate to the athletes, and the results they came back to us with have been incredible with more than 100 victories in WorldTour, Lifetime Grand Prix, the Olympics and many more!
This new system puts the optimization process in the hands of the athlete. Want a training wax that lasts 600km between waxings, you've got it. Want a race wax that's won multiple Tour de France stages, you've got it. Want the most insane TT wax for your 40km TT, you've got it.
Internally we started out calling the process 'Wax Doping' but with so much exposure to world class athletes we've decided to call the process 'Wax Optimization'. Introducing, SpeedChip and EnduranceChip, wax optimization agents that allow you to blend the perfect wax for your needs.

Silca MATTONE Seat Pack Black Regular Seat Pack

Seat bag users fall into two categories: Seat roll aficionados and seat bag users.
Traditionally, seat bags have been simple open spaces that allowed content to jangle about, making noise and rubbing against each other. Often times a spare tube was pulled out of a seat bag to reveal it was more full of holes than the tube being replaced due to friction against a house key or multi-tool. With Mattone, we designed a small pocket to keep multi-tools and tubes separated from each other. The unique off-center Aquaguard Zipper allows the case to completely open and lay flat when off the bike, while also allowing easy access to the multi-tool and money/card slots when on the bike without risk of spilling all the contents of the bag.
A high friction Hypalon strap with BOA® Closure completes the package. Making more than 15x the power of Velcro®, the BOA® Closure uses a ratcheting mechanism that will not creep or loosen even under the most extreme vibration and impact. This ensures the Mattone will remain high and tight‚ under your saddle until you need to access it... no swinging, swaying, or rattling... ever!

SILCA ULTIMATE TUBELESS SEALANT WITH FIBERFOAM

- Effective down to 10F/ -12C
- Seals 7.5mm holes for up to 6mo
- Must be poured into tire during install
- Not injector compatible (It seals holes bigger thany our valve)
- Use Replenisher every 90-120 days for best performance
- 6, 9, and 12mm recycled carbon fibers are dispersed evenly by a foaming latex to create ultra strong seals
- Made in the USA
SILCA Ultimate Tubeless Sealant uses the power of a foaming latex formula combined with chopped carbon fibers to boost sealing power even at higher pressures. Ultimate Tubeless Sealant contains 5% by volume, 6, 9, and 12mm chopped carbon fibers which have been reclaimed from recycled bicycles, carbon wheels, racecars, and aircraft components. A unique foaming latex formula allows for the very lightweight carbon fibers to be evenly dispersed within the sealant while riding, which allows for a higher fiber content than possible with Kevlar or fiberglass. At this high fiber loading, bundles of carbon fiber are carried directly to the puncture by the sealant flow where thousands of micro-bubbles collapse on each other, depositing their high stiffness carbon fibers over the hole. During this process, the carbon fibers form a dam of fibers against the tire casing not unlike a beaver dam of sticks blocking the flow of a stream. This dam of high stiffness/high strength fibers has been shown to seal holes in testing up to 7.5mm, some 25% larger than conventional technologies.
After the puncture is sealed, that area of the tire is left with a zone of carbon fiber reinforced latex bridging the top and bottom of the hole, helping to reduce the likelihood of future punctures in that area when compared to other sealant additives such as cornmeal, glitter, or fiberglass.
This superior sealing ability and hole reinforcing ability of the carbon fiber also allows for a higher concentration of anti-freeze agents in the sealant which means more effective sealing at low temperatures (6mm holes seal at 18deg F/ -7deg C), as well as longer lasting sealant (7-9months depending on humidity).
