Why We Created the Fastest Climber Challenge

The Fastest Climber Challenge was created to add an extra level of excitement, competition, and achievement to the event. It encourages riders to push their limits, test their climbing strength, and experience the course in a more engaging way through Strava competition. 🚴♂️⛰️

This optional challenge for Strava users will assess 5 selected uphill Strava segments.
Participants need to know the segments (start/finish) and to ensure results will be publicly visible on Strava.
Organizer will take stock of recorded times at 3:20PM for the presentations at 3:30PM on the event day.
Leaderboard will be assessed based on the combined time across all 5 segments.
3 fastest riders (male and female) will be awarded a medal.
Full leaderboard based on visible Strava recordings at 7:00PM will be shared through official comms channel.
Any unsafe behavior will be noted and a given rider will not be considered for this challenge.
