XTR brake lever made of magnesium in Enduro version

At first glance, the BL-M9120 brake lever has hardly changed from its predecessor. From a technical point of view, the master piston and the mechanism have also been largely adopted from the M9020. However, the suspension of the lever has been fundamentally revised. The wider clamp in the middle of the lever not only creates more space for attaching remote levers, it also offers significantly more rigidity. In combination with a support for the master piston on the handlebars, the brake lever offers a much more direct braking feel. According to Shimano, this design has increased stiffness and braking force by 10% and achieved a 30% faster response. For optimum accessibility, the reach of the lever can be adjusted without tools.
