Advanced Heat Management

Shimano’s Ice Technologies FREEZA is a state-of-the-art feature that significantly improves heat dissipation. The multi-layer rotor construction, consisting of an aluminum core sandwiched between stainless steel outer layers, effectively reduces heat build-up. SHIMANO Brake Disc Center Lock RT-MT900 | 140 mm IceTech FREEZA

With the Ice-Tech cooling technology, the RT-MT900 brake disc ensures constant braking performance even on longer descents. The brake disc is characterized by a three-layer sandwich construction. The stainless steel flanks with an aluminum core offer significantly improved heat dissipation. This allows the temperature to be reduced by around 100 ° C.

Shimano XT BR-M8120 is a four-piston disc brake set with organic brake pads specially designed for Enduro and Trail applications. The brake callipers feature excellent brake control and a simple connection system. The I-Spec EV compatible BL-M8100 brake levers are mounted at an angle to provide an additional contact point.
